When Alanna first stepped into Mirboo North’s beloved “chocolate shop” thirteen years ago, looking for work experience, she never thought that all these years later she would call it her own.

Now owning the business for over six years, this little cafe has gone from strength to strength and in late 2023 saw a major renovation increasing patronage and allowing it to become everybody’s favourite meeting spot year round.

With its unique location “on the ridge” in Mirboo North, visitors come from all over Gippsland and day trip from Melbourne to score a seat for lunch.

With a strong passion for coffee, good wholesome food and a love for feel-good interiors, Alanna has created a space that feels like cosy and luxe. It’s no wonder visitors find their favourite seat and stay a while, soaking it all in.
